Cheap Makeup Tricks

I am becoming more and more in love with BEAUTY work and headshots. I love great quality makeup achieved by professional Makeup Artists and even Hair Stylists, coupled with a fantastic Photographer that understands Beauty Lighting!

For Beauty Shots and headshots, concentration is more on the hair, makeup, and facial expression, but I adore when people work their hands into play, especially models who pose their hands properly!

If you are wondering how to pose your hands properly, without making them look awkward or manly, instead of flat hands, or completely spread fingers, resort to what I've always called "The Waterfall" in which you curl your fingers in slightly, at staggered lengths...pinky curled in the tightest, then ring finger slight less curled in, middle finger even less curled in and finally the pointer finger sticking out the most. Here are some examples where strong hair, makeup, expression and "The Waterfall" come into play!!

Princess Couture

I came across these stunningly beautiful renditions of Disney Princess through the eyes of photographer Eugenio Recueno. These fairy tales are brought to life with fine Couture and artistic flare! I love ideas like this for photo shoots! Combining real and imaginary while creating art is a beautiful thing and this unique twist on old time favorites bring life to Princess Couture!
Snow White offers an eerie beauty as she lay asleep from the apple's poison. Her gown blanketing her body in style with an empire waist and layered ruffles!

Little Red Riding Hood showcases a magnificent gown and bodice accompanied by a lush red  cape, warding the wolves with her stylish grace.

The Princess & The Pea exudes power with her bold, cascading tresses, and her perfectly tattered gown gives off a feminine feel with it's pastel color, lace and layers.

Cinderella takes a break  from hard work, and in doing so she shows off her  uniquely designed  peasant gown with cinched waist and accessories.

An interpretation of Belle from Beauty & The Beast thinks about her hideous captor while  allowing her dynamic, floor sweeping gown, presenting elegance, and class as well as a few hints of sexy!
